Now i just need the back sliding window lock. I ve removed the lock in it s entirety from the door but don t know where to go next. In which paul says you have to insert the key in the lock and turn the key until you can see the brass pin then depress the pin and wiggle the key in the lock to remove the barrel. You can drill a hole in the metal plate behing the door card to gain easier access to the screw.

The ignition barrel is the same as the door barrels so i have replaced that as well. I now have side windows lockable and all barrels working with one key. I ve got a 85 series 3 109 military spec and want to replace the front door locks. Well i am not spending 300 on new door latches let s fix em up.

The brasss pin locates in a groove inside the lock assembly and stops the barrel falling out i ll give it another go i ve probably not been using enough pressure. I ve already bought replacement barrels and changed the rear door lock successfully but i can t figure out how to remove the barrels from the front doors.
