All plastic guttering in external soil stack suffer from uv damage. If there are missed areas wipe the oxidation with a damp cloth. You can restore the color and luster of your dull faded gutters with everbrite. Use a 12 hydrogen peroxide cream instead of the liquid variety most stores carry.

To ensure a good bond. Look all you need is a mildly abrasive metal cleaner. Wearing rubber gloves use a grout sponge to clean and wash the gutters thoroughly with the soapy mixture. Then brush an even layer of the cream over the area.

Work it gently into the plastic give it a few seconds to dry buff it off and there you go. You see it is only the surface that is discoloured under that it is as good as new. Scrub the solution on to the surface and allow it to stand for 10 15 minutes then rinse thoroughly. A 4m length of guttering can expand contract over 25mm in length in different temperatures.

You can use a brush or a cloth. Treat any mildew with a 50 50 bleach and water solution. All surfaces must be clean dry and free of dirt grease grime and mildew. Plenty in the tub probably used about 1 8 of it on the door as i lashed it on.

Rinse well with plain water. Tried lots of different products to revive a very faded 8 year old black composite front door. Paint hydrogen peroxide cream over the faded or discolored area. This can t be avoided but it can be repaired.

A paint has to be pretty darn flexible to cope with that. I was sceptical as i always am about online reviews but this stuff really does do the job. Let dry and check that all the oxidation is removed. All together took about an hour or so.

Clean the gutters with ez prep concentrated cleaner and water. All waxes polishes silicone etc. Should be completely and thoroughly removed.
