If you have plastic guttering joined with a union piece one of the gaskets seals may be damaged. For example use aluminum flashing to patch an aluminum gutter. If clips or brackets hold your gutters check for broken clips and loose or missing screws. Larger holes can be carefully covered with a piece of flashing sheet metal.
